About Federated RI Sportmen’s Club, Inc.

Mission Statement:

Its purpose shall be the uniting of organized sportsmen of Rhode Island and nearby territory into a single body, thereby creating cooperative thought and action, towards establishing and maintaining sane and suitable control of the restoration, protection, and preservation of fish, game, and non-game wildlife and their habitats and to perpetuate with high ethics and ideals the recreational sport of fishing, hunting, trapping, sport shooting, camping, horseback riding, and of reforestation, beautification, and clean water.

The Federated leadership and member clubs attend and testify at Department of Environmental Management (DEM) and State legislative hearings. This practice greatly facilitates effective communication between the regulatory and sportsmen and women communities.

FRISC hosts a variety of events to include, New Shooter Seminars, Game Dinners, annual Banquet to recognize Sportsmen of the year and Youth Sportsmen of the year.

Member clubs have FRISC delegates who report back to clubs to keep them up to date on news, events and legislation affecting our clubs.

The member clubs further extend the FRISC’s mission outreach to their members, family, friends and general public through field days, fishing, shooting and social activities. The clubs are also ensuring the perpetuation of the future sportsmen activities and second amendment rights by sponsoring a variety of educational sports youth activities.

The Federated has an open enrollment policy for organizational and individual memberships.
